I recently had a delightful stay at The Anchorage in St. Margaret's Hope. It was a great value for money, with comfortable and spacious rooms, including a nice bathroom. The hotel is situated in a quiet and beautiful location, with a lovely rocky beach nearby. The kitchen at The Anchorage was one of the best I've experienced, well-equipped and very clean. The location is perfect for exploring the charming town, just minutes away from where the ferry drops you off. The hostess who runs the place was extremely helpful. A truly enjoyable retreat!
I do recommend this hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the ferry. The shared kitchen was handy for preparing meals, and there were a couple of nice bars nearby.
Check out was too early, and the towels in the room were a bit small.

I recently stayed at The Anchorage in Saint Margarets Hope for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is run like a hostel, but with private rooms that have double beds and en-suite bathrooms. The fully functioning kitchen and dining area were great for preparing meals, and the comfortable sitting room was a nice place to relax. I also appreciated the convenience of having a laundry facility on-site. It was also very handy to have a general dealer/grocery shop right across the road. I found The Anchorage to be a great value for the money, offering a comfortable and convenient stay in a charming and peaceful harbor city.
Totally recommend this hotel.
